Morrison Injury Not As Bad As First Suspected. | |
07 July 2008 There was relief all round when Skye full back Steven Morrison's ankle injury against Glenurquhart in the Balliemore Cup semi final win turned out to be severe bruising. Early indications at the game were that he could have chipped a bone. It's too early to say whether Morrison will be available for this Saturday's derby against Kinlochshiel but he should certainly be fit for the Balliemore Cup Final on 26 July 2008. The injury worries are mounting for Skye manager Alasdair Morrison as Aonghas MacDonald is unlikely to play this weekend and Shockie MacLennan picked up a hamstring injury playing for the Scotland A U17 team. Somhairle MacDonald is still on holiday in Canada. Kerr Gibb missed last week's game although he is likely to be fit for this weekend |
