Portree Primary School take on Kingussie Primary School for the MacIntyre Cup on Monday 23 June 2008.

This challenge match pits together two legends of shinty - Portree coach Willie Cowie and Kingussie coach Davie Anderson.

It also brings together the national cup winners and the national league winners. Portree won the MacKay Cup deafeating Rockfield 5-4 in the final. They also deafeated Kingussie in the semi final. Kingussie won the National  League defeating Rockfield 4-1 in the final. 

Portree will need good performances from buckshee back Jack Latton, full centre Willie Cowie, and forwards Andrew Grant and Angie Grant. Full back Calum MacInnes and keeper James Pringle will also be important players.

The match takes place at Pairc nan Laoich with a 1.30pm throw up.
