Skye Camanachd hosted a visit from Northern California Shinty Club this week - 6th / 7th September 2007.

On Thursday evening, a challenge match was staged with the Californians showing the Skye team a thing or two about shinty state-side. The Skye team won in the end, but the visitors (with the help of a few ringers) gave an excellent account of themselves.

On Friday  evening, the visitors watched the Ewen Morrison Cup between the North and South Skye select teams. With some guest appearances from the Californian players, the South won the trophy.
